American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI) Coordinator

Shelley Neese

Shelley Neese has dedicated her life to sharing the story of Israel, both ancient and modern. She is the president of The Jerusalem Connection, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and activate Christian support for Israel and the Jewish people. She is also the coordinator for American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI). ACLI is a project of ICEJ that launched in 2015 out of a necessity to coordinate the efforts of all the pro-Israel Christian organizations in America. As coordinator, Shelley works to enhance the organization’s online presence, social media engagement, and communication efforts. Her work there involves producing the bimonthly email newsletter that summarizes ACLI news, events, and relevant topics such as antisemitism and US-Israel relations. As events in the region unfold, she also writes response articles highlighting ACLI members’ opinions.

“Christians support Israel, love the Jewish people, and want to engage with the Jewish State because of the Bible,” says Shelley. “Through my work with the ACLI, I hope I can be one part of ICEJ’s mission to help Christians connect with Israel by first reengaging the Scriptures and then experiencing them firsthand and befriending the people of the Bible.”

Shelley’s background has uniquely equipped her for her work in both organizations. She studied in Israel for three years at Ben Gurion University, where she received her Master of Arts in Middle Eastern studies. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in biblical history and archaeology at The Bible Seminary.

Her love of God’s Word and writing has resulted in two published books, The Copper Scroll Project and Bible Fiber: The Twelve Minor Prophets, and she hosts the related Bible Fiber podcast. Shelley’s other can be found in many publications, including but not limited to The Jerusalem Report, Israel Today, FrontPage Magazine, and The Sentinel. She has made interview appearances on the Eric Metaxas Show on TBN, Jerusalem Dateline with Chris Mitchell on CBN, InGrace with Jim Scudder, and The Watchman with Erick Stakelbeck, to name a few.

Shelley lives in South Florida with her husband and four children and in her free time enjoys speed walking.
