ICEJ USA created the Israel Impact Tour for young adults who want to experience Israel beyond the usual sightseeing trip. Over 10 days, you will explore biblical and historical sites, hear directly from Israelis, take part in a hands-on service project, and examine Israel’s history and current realities.
Whether you are a college student, a young professional, or somewhere in between, this is an opportunity to ask honest questions, grow in your faith, and examine Israel through Scripture, history, and firsthand encounters rather than headlines and social media.
What You Will Experience
- See the Bible come to life as you visit Jerusalem, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the City of David, Capernaum, and other significant sites.
- Worship on the Sea of Galilee and see the region where much of Jesus’ ministry took place.
- Serve alongside Israelis and ICEJ Jerusalem staff through a hands-on volunteer experience that connects you with the people of the land.

Travel to Israel is often out of reach for young adults. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners who believe in investing in the next generation, this 10-day Israel experience is available for only $1,750.
The tour price includes the 10-day Israel experience and flight arrangements from select US hubs. Final departure hubs will be determined based on registrations. Complete information about airfare, accommodations, meals, ground transportation, insurance, and any expenses not included will be provided before payment is due.

Who Should Apply?
The Israel Impact Tour is open to US young adults ages 18–30, including college students and young professionals. You do not need to be an Israel expert or have traveled internationally before. You should come ready to learn, engage, serve, and participate fully in a faith-centered group experience.
Because space is limited, participation is by application and approval.
How the Application Process Works
- Choose your preferred tour date and complete the online application.
- Watch for an email from ICEJ USA. Applications will be reviewed, and approved applicants will receive registration and payment instructions.
- Complete your registration and payment. Your place on the tour is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
- Prepare for Israel. Approved participants will receive the travel details and information they need before departure.

Who is eligible to apply?
The tour is exclusively for American Christian young adults ages 18–30. College students, graduate students, working young adults, and young professionals are welcome to apply.
Is this a Christian tour?
Yes. The tour is designed to deepen participants’ Christian faith and biblical understanding of Israel and the Jewish people. It includes visits to sites connected to the Bible and the life and ministry of Jesus, along with worship and opportunities for spiritual growth.
Is this a mission trip or a sightseeing tour?
It is neither a traditional mission trip nor a typical sightseeing tour. The Israel Impact Tour combines travel, biblical learning, a hands-on service experience, and cultural engagement with the land and people of Israel.
Is it safe to travel to Israel?
We understand that safety is top of mind for anyone considering travel to Israel. ICEJ has maintained a continuous presence in Israel for more than 45 years—including through times of conflict—and we monitor conditions closely in coordination with our team in Jerusalem, trusted local partners and Israeli authorities.
The safety of our participants is always our highest priority. We follow recommended security protocols, will not take the group anywhere considered unsafe by Israeli authorities or our experienced on-the-ground contacts, and will adjust the itinerary if conditions require. The tour will proceed only when conditions allow for a safe, well-coordinated and meaningful experience. Should circumstances change, we will communicate with participants promptly.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
The $1,750 tour payment is nonrefundable. Once payment is received and your place is secured, airline tickets are purchased on your behalf through our tour partners. Because those funds are committed immediately, we cannot issue a refund if you cancel or are unable to travel—including because of passport delays. If your passport renewal is pending, we strongly recommend requesting expedited processing.
