The ICEJ Weekly Webinar presents an excerpt from ICEJ President Dr. Juergen Buehler’s keynote address at the Jerusalem Summit, introducing the Jerusalem Affirmation of the Nicene Faith.

In this presentation, Dr. Buehler explains how the Nicene Creed affirmed Christ’s divinity, but failed to reflect the Jewish identity of Yeshua and the continuing significance of the Jewish people in God’s redemptive plan. The Jerusalem Affirmation seeks to complement the historic Creed by reaffirming the church’s commitment to the Jewish people, rejecting antisemitism and encouraging a more biblical understanding of the relationship between the church, Israel, and the Jewish people.
